Thoth · Slack integration

Review agent actions where your team works.

Thoth evaluates AI-agent actions before integrated tools execute. Connect Slack to receive blocked-action alerts, review requests that need human approval, and understand the policy behind a decision.

Self-service installation is not available yet. Contact Aten to discuss setup for your organization.

From decision to review

Keep the decision and its context together.

Receive the right alerts

Send STEP_UP approval requests and BLOCK notifications to your configured security channel. Notify developers by direct message or a configured channel.

Act with authorization

Authorized reviewers can approve or deny a held action in Slack. Thoth checks the reviewer’s permission before resolving the request and notifies the developer of the outcome.

Understand and follow up

Open a decision explanation, submit a policy exception with business context, and let authorized reviewers approve, deny, or request changes to that exception.

Connect your workspace.

  1. 01

    Authorize Aten in Slack

Select the workspace you want to connect and review the requested permissions. Your Slack administrator may need to approve the installation.

  2. 02

    Link your Aten organization

An Aten tenant administrator connects the installation to the correct organization. If you start in Slack before you have an Aten account, continue through account setup and workspace linking.

  3. 03

    Configure and verify delivery

Choose your notification channels in Thoth settings, give the app access to them, and use a controlled agent action to verify an alert and an authorized review.

A connected Thoth deployment is required to generate notifications. Each Aten organization connects one primary Slack workspace; separate customer organizations keep their own installations. Contact Aten about account access and pricing before rollout.

This integration handles Thoth notifications and the interactions you submit to Aten. It does not scan your workspace’s message history. Read the Slack integration privacy notice for the information involved in these workflows.
